Ashtanga Mysore and Led
Mysore is a place in India. Because it was the residence of the Ashtanga guru, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Mysore is also a traditional method of teaching yoga that unfolds the series to each practitioner, on an individual basis, introducing new poses in increments. A beginner starts with only a few poses, gradually adding more and more as his practice develops and his proficiency and commitment evolve.
These classes are suitable for advanced students. They are also highly recommended for beginners, those with injuries and special needs. If you are new to the practice or have special requirements, please confirm your attendance in advance so that we can better take care of your needs.
Schedule
Zoom (online): Mon 8-10am / Tue 6-8am and 5-7pm / Wed 8-10am / Thu 6-8am

New Student: first class free
To join our classes, please email info@yogamanila.com or SMS / Viber us at +63 917 522 9642 (YOGA), and we will send you details. Our zoom invites are unique to each class in order to maintain the highest level of security for each one attending the Zoom session.
Here are a few guidelines to facilitate a seamless move from Studio to Zoom:
- Position your camera so you see your whole mat including your entire person standing at the top of the mat.
– Set your device on a table or shelf 53-60cm (21-24”) high and 168cm (5.5’) away from your mat – at an angle (10 or 2 o’clock) from front of mat. - Make sure your background is not overly illuminated from lights or windows, otherwise you will become a silhouette on screen.
- Download ZOOM app.
– click on link or enter the meeting id and password - When on Zoom:
– as you log in, use the Video preview to help you position your device and mat
– make sure your audio is on mute, this keeps out all external noises from disrupting the ‘quiet’ of the room
– make sure video is on and your screen is not black - Check your internet connection.
- Should you need to communicate with the teacher during class, please use the Chat option.
Zumba
Zumba is a Latin dance-inspired workout that started in the 1990’s. A typical class includes high and low intensity segments, a cardiovascular challenge that benefits one’s overall health and sense of well-being. The movements are typically dance-inspired and generally lean towards salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton but can run the whole gamut to other dance rhythms.
Join Vicky as she takes you through an hour of movement that goes by much quicker than you would expect. The music combined with the dance moves, help improve your body’s circulation as you simultaneously boost your body’s ability to take in and use oxygen. All this is done against a backdrop of having fun, enjoying the music, and revelling in the freedom of movement.
Think of this Zumba class as just another expression of you. Allow Vicky to take you to moves you’ve done before, and to some that you seen but never had the chance to try out.

Pregnancy Yoga
Fertility yoga is a valuable first step in preparing one’s body, mind, and spirit for significant life changes. There will be an emphasis on poses that reduce stress, promote a positive spirit, and increase energy flow through the body which can support the hormonal and reproductive system to welcome new life.
Prenatal yoga is perhaps the most ideal way to stay in shape during pregnancy, with gentle poses designed to keep muscles toned and joints limber while also improving balance and circulation. It also teaches the mother-to-be how to breathe fully and relax, which will prepare her for labor and giving birth.
Postnatal yoga provides a gentle way to recover after childbirth with mothers going through moderate yoga routines to restore strength, flexibility and balance, while at the same time promoting the production of breast milk. The class also provides an excellent opportunity for new mothers to bond and interact with each other.
