Arne Espejel
Authorized Level 2 Ashtanga Yoga Teacher
February 4 to 25, 2018
Ortigas Studio

Arne Espejel returns. After numerous trips to Mysore and assisting R. Sharath Jois in the main Shala or practice place, Arne is brimming over and ready to share all that he has learned and tested to be true. Get a taste of what it is to practice in Mysore, India through Arne. For those that have practiced with Arne, consider this time as a review of all that has been learned, an annual check-up, so to speak. For those new to Arne, he is here long enough to teach a complete beginner or provide, if necessary, the added push to a standstill practice.

Arne discovered Ashtanga Yoga in 2003. Five years later, he travelled to Mysore, India to practice and pay his respects to Shri K. Pattabhi Jois, the founder of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Since then, he has gone back to Mysore yearly for further studies, and is currently learning the Advance A series under the guidance of R. Sharath Jois and Saraswathi Jois, the grandson and daughter of the founder. In 2010, Arne received the blessings of the Jois family and was authorized to teach both the Primary and Intermediate Series and is now an Authorized Level 2 Teacher in the tradition of Shri K. Pattabhi Jois.

Beginners are welcome. The start-time for those new to the practice is 8:00am and for those that know the practice, you may come at anytime, keeping in mind that sessions end at 9:00am.

Classes will not require advance reservations but may involve a wait time when the room is at full capacity.
